"It feels great. It's a real proud moment, it's something you work for your whole life. To have the opportunity to represent my unit at this level, is just a blessing. It was a great getting to compete at this level." - 1st Sgt. Michael Hartzell |
Fiscal Year 2015 Regular Army Recruiting Noncommissioned Officer of the
Year, Staff Sgt. Jerad Bullock, 3rd Brigade. Bullock will represent USAREC at the TRADOC level for the Soldier of the Year competition.
"It's unreal. I worked with some really great noncommissioned officers and any one of us could have taken it. It's a good feeling to be competing with such great leaders. I really didn't expect to be selected to move onto the TRADOC level, but I'm ready to take on the challenge." - Staff Sgt. Jared Bullock |
Fiscal Year 2015 Army Reserve Recruiting Noncommissioned Officer of the
Year, Staff Sgt. Joshua Hernandez, 5th Brigade
"It's the greatest pleasure I've had in a very long time. I worked really hard competing for this and it really tested my limits. I'm happy for that. I met a great group of NCOs, had a great support channel and mentorship, and if it wasn't for them and my wife supporting me, I don't think I'd be here right now." - Staff Sgt. Joshua Hernandez |
Fiscal Year 2015 Center Commander of the Year, Staff Sgt. Robert Eichelberger.
"It's a great accomplishment. My wife just recently gave birth to our son Derrick, so I was away from my newborn son for two weeks and this sort of makes it worth it - that I'm bringing this back to my family. I know they're cheering for me and hoping I would bring it home." - Staff Sgt. Robert Eichelberger |
