Twelve NCOs were selected to be inducted into the USAREC Chapter of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (SAMC) yesterday at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The induction ceremony will be held in October.
Sixteen recruiters appeared before the board, where they were tested on their leadership and knowledge of Sgt. Audie Leon Murphy, Army regulations, field manuals, USAREC history, and other areas. The Soldiers were given a written exam, had to complete an essay, did weapons qualification, conducted the Army Physical Fitness Test, led Physical Readiness Training, conducted a TA-50 layout with recognition, and a mystery event.
