Effective July 1, Future Soldiers, centers of influence and the general public will be able to provide feedback about recruiters with whom they’ve met. The “Rate My Recruiter” WebApp, available at www.rate-my-recruiter.com on any mobile device or computer, will enable the American public to voice and log their experiences with USAREC. The command is asking five simple questions:
The primary goal of this tool is to foster an environment of trust and transparency with the general public, said Col. Mike Runey with Army Recruiting Command’s Commander’s Initiative Group (CIG).
“The vast majority of our recruiters are doing a great job. We want to continue to communicate, connect and improve relations with prospects and the community after an engagement. This “Rate My Recruiter” app is a way to quickly follow-through with them in the mobile environment in which we’re living and our recruiters operate,” said Runey. “This mechanism also reminds us that we are always accountable to the American people. While it will shed light on the small number of recruiters whose work is not up to par, it will also highlight all the good work the overwhelming majority are doing.”
In the initial weeks, all feedback will be received by the CIG and briefed to the commanding general and the command sergeant major.
