There’s been a delay in the delivery of the new Company Mobile Engagement Asset that’s replacing the H3s.
The main attraction of the asset, a video kiosk is still in production. The first deliveries are expected in the coming months.
“It’s the only high tech piece of equipment in the asset,” said Capt. Fred Patchell, Project Officer. “It has two TVs, one that’s hooked to an Xbox One, so kids can play the latest and greatest video games. The other TV has a DVD player, which will continuously play different recruiting videos.”
Other tech aspects are a Wi-Fi hotspot prospects can access after providing lead information, and a cell phone charging station located next to the TV playing recruiting videos.
The mobile asset also includes:
The kiosks and all the assets fit inside a branded 7 x14-foot single-axle trailer pulled behind an assigned truck. Everything in the trailer can be set up inside or outdoors.
“There was a lot of work and even some science that went into deciding just what this asset should be,” said Patchell. “We wanted to make sure headquarters was providing the companies with something they could and would use. So we took requests and incorporated the most commonly asked for items.”
The assets will be delivered to companies 10 at a time in the coming months for a total of 50 by the end of this fiscal year. After that, 50 are scheduled to be delivered a year until each company has one.
Every company will be required to fill out quarterly reports providing feedback on and evaluating each asset.
