Army Marketing Research Group (AMRG) is finally getting the senior enlisted adviser AMRG executives have sought since the marketing arm of the Army was established two years ago.
Command Sgt. Maj. Donnel Daniels, who stepped down as Accessions Support Brigade’s (ASB) command sergeant major during a change of responsibility ceremony July 18, will take on that role in just August.
Daniels began his recruiting career in August 1990 as a detailed recruiter. During the past two years as the CSM for ASB, Daniels said he traveled across the country to talk to the Soldiers and civilians who help connect America’s people to America’s Army.
“During every site I visited I stressed to the team how important it was for us to ensure that every visitor leaves with a positive impression of our Army,” said Daniels.
“The great news is that I will carry the experiences and lessons I’ve learned over the past two year to my new duty assignment at AMRG. I assure you that I will give 100 percent every day strengthening our internal and external relationships while ensuring that all supported organizations know that their mission success is at the forefront of our daily activities.”
Mark Davis, deputy assistant secretary of the Army and director of AMRG said bringing Daniels on board with his operational knowledge of recruiting and engagement events will give AMRG a greater connectivity with Army Recruiting Command and Cadet Command
