Accepting High School Stabilization Requests

U.S. Army Recruiting Command Soldiers requesting assignment stabilization due to having a current high school sophomore must submit a DA Form 4187 between now and Sept. 1.

You must submit this request through your chain of command to USAREC G1. Once a Soldier has assignment instructions, requests for stabilization will not be favorably considered.

The DA Form 4187 must include this statement: “Student (child's full name) is enrolled in DEERS. In addition, you need to attach the DD Form 1172 and a letter from the high school with the student's name, Social Security Number, and projected graduation date.

Points of contact are USAREC G1 Enlisted Management Branch at (502) 626-0607 or Officer Management Branch at (502) 626-0252.
